The first positive COVID-19 case identified in December 2019 from Wuhan City, China. From there it’s spread all over the world. In India, the first positive COVID-19 case identified in January 2020. The first case was identified at Kerala, the patient was a student at Wuhan University, China.
From that case are going to rise day by day. As the cases are recorded on 24th March 2020, India was lockdown for the first time. This lockdown is done for the safe being of human beings as COVID-19 is spreading day by day in India.
This first nationwide lockdown was extended till 14th April. At this time India has recorded 536 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 10 death reports. The second phase of lockdown was started from 14th April till 3rd May 2020. Till this time India has recorded more than 10,000 COVID-19 cases.

On 1st May 2020, the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the list of Red, Green and Orange zones in India. As the second phase of lockdown is about to end, he declares the states, district, localities under the different zones which was titled as red, green, and orange.
Through this, honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi also started the evacuation process of Indian who was stranded abroad. The evacuation process was running under “Vande Bharat Mission” were on 3rd May they evacuate over 1.5 Lakh Indian who was stranded in UAE. In this process, around 64 flights were in process to bring back the citizens of India from different countries through Vande Bharat Mission.
On 7th May another incident took place in Visakhapatnam. There was an LG Polymer plant where the Styrene gas leaked. This gas was used in the production of polystyrene plastics and resins. This incident took place in the night around 2.30 am. The 11 people died and hundreds of people got sick due to styrene gas.
To prevent the long queue in front of liquor shops the Government has launched the e-token for liquors. On 8th May, the government launched the application where people have to fill the form and get a token number. This step was taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In RML Hospital, the canteen worker was tested positive for COVID-19. This incident took place on 14th May, where the canteen staff of RML hospital was tested positive. This canteen was very accessible for the resident doctors and other staff.
On the first day of Lockdown 4, the border of Delhi and Noida has witnessed the massive jam. From 18th May, the 4th phase of lockdown was started with some relaxation on border movement, office start operating.
On 22nd May, another tragic incident took place in Pakistan where Airbus A320 has crashed in Model Colony in Karachi. The Airbus A320 carrying 99 passengers has got crashed in the densely populated area. This incident took the lives of more than 97 people which include 9 children. In this incident, only two people have survived and given the whole statement about the incident.
In between government has also permit to start railway services within states. The booking for the reservation was started from 21st May and the first train after lockdown will run from 1st June. There were also given all the preventive measures to board the train during pandemic COVID-19.

On 25th March, India has recorded his first 1 Lakh coronavirus cases. From January to March, India took more than 64 days to record 1 Lakh Coronavirus cases in India. With respect to other countries, India is doing well in positive cases of COVID-19 as well as the death rate.
As coronavirus infecting people all over the world but on the 25th of May there was a statement that came out from China that China was planning to evacuate their stranded citizens from India. This step also shook the World that why all of sudden this was happening. The first positive case of COVID-19 has come from Wuhan, China. The process for booking the flight back to China was started on 27th May.
The worst Locust attack also took place in this period of COVID-19. In 1993 India has first encountered the locust attack which destroyed many yards of farms. Then after 27 years, it’s back and it was assumed that they have the capability to eat up to 35,000 people food in a single day. On 6th June, Arvind Kejriwal released a statement by saying there should be an end to black marketing of beds. As patients are suffering from getting beds available in the hospital there is personnel who were involved in the black marketing of beds.
India becomes 5th worst hit nation by COVID-19 on 7th June. India has surpassed Spain and Italy and has become the 5th worst-hit nation.
While handling everything the Government was planning to lift lockdown by providing more relaxation. Through this phase, India was under Un-lockdown where the government was the plan to reopen the offices and many more things. On 9th June, the peoples and other concern department was tensed because of the lifting of lockdown may lead to the second of COVID-19.
On 12th June it was reported that the first time in India the recoveries of COVID-19 patients have overtaken the active cases. At this moment the active cases in India were 141,842 while the recovered cases were 147,194.

Then shocking news broke all around the news channels on 14th June. On 14th June Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide and his body was found at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. He was just 34 years old.
