According to Apple, the iPhone 12 is expected to launch sometime in Fall 2020. But, with the coronavirus pandemic having brought the world to a halt, it might take till late 2020 for the new models to hit the stores globally.

With screen sizes ranging from 5.4 inches to 6.7 inches, the iPhone 12 series has a lot to offer to a wide customer group. The screens for all 4 models are OLED, with the LiDAR sensor and 120Hz refresh rate on the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models.

These two models are also expected to boast of a 3D TrueDepth camera system, while the base models have the dual rear cameras.

The iPhone 12 models boast of the state-of-the-art A14 Bionic Chip in its processor – which is the fastest processor yet, exceeding 3GHz in performance.

Storage space is aplenty on the iPhone 12 series, with the lower-end models starting at 64GB and the Pro & Pro Max starting at 128GB. All of the phones are expected to run on 5G and will support the new IEEE 802.11ay Wi-Fi, which is expected to increase the bandwidth by 4X.

Appearance-wise, the iPhone 12 is expected to revisit the iconic iPhone 5 aesthetics with its square design and metal frame. While the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max will come in an Aluminum body, the higher-end models will come in a steel body.

For charging, the device will use a lightning port, instead of USB-C.
