Upcoming film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Alia Bhatt has faced legal trouble. The son of Gangubai Kathiawadi’s has filed a case against Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the upcoming film “Gangubai Kathiwadi”.
The upcoming film “Gangubai Kathiawadi” portrays the life of a brothel owner of the same name. Gangubai son Babuji Rawji Shah said that the content of the book on which the film is based on has defamatory and comprises the infringement of the right to privacy, self-respect, and liberty.
The upcoming film “Gangubai Kathiwadi” is based on the book “The Mafia Queens of Mumbai”, author Hussain Zaidi. Shah has also filed a case against author and reporter Jane Borges. He has demanded the permanent termination of the printing and distribution of the book.

The first hearing of the case has taken place at Bombay Civil Court. The next hearing is on 7th January. Shah’s lawyer may also file a criminal case against Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Hussain Zaidi. The case for the slander, impolite illustration of women, and circulation of obscene materials.
Shah said when the poster and promos were live, he’s being harassed in his locality. He also suffered a leg fracture from a hit. Shah also shared that his family members as well as relatives are being bullied by calling “coming from prostitute family”.
Gangubai remembered as “The Madam of Kamathipura” from the pages of history. At an early age, Gangubai pushed into prostitution. Later she became an extremely influential pimp with several fierce gangsters as her client. The film “Gangubai Kathiawadi” slated to release in September this year. Due to a coronavirus pandemic, it delayed and now supposed to the released this coming year.
