The Former Indian Cricketer and Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister, Chetan Chauhan has taken his last breath on Sunday. After the death, tweets flooded after saddening news of Chetan Chauhan.

It was said that Chetan Chauhan was suffering from multiple organ failure. On 17th July he was admitted to Medanta Hospital where he tested positive for COVID-19. He took his last breathe on 16th August 2020 around 5 pm.

Chetan Pratap Singh played 40 test matches for India and also played Ranji Trophy for Delhi and Maharashtra. In the late 1970s, he played International Cricket. After retirement from Cricket, he becomes a leader in BJP (Bhartiya Janata Party). Recently he was playing the role of Cabinet Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, tweet “The former Cricketer and Minister of Uttar Pradesh Chetan Chauhan has first served the nation by playing Cricket. Later he served as Public Servant”. He further wrote that his death is a great loss for Indian Politics and Cricket also. He also expresses his condolence to the Chetan Chauhan family.
